Redcliffe (North of Brisbane)
Redcliffe is situated on a peninsula 28 km North-East of Brisbane, it overlooks Moreton Bay and is approximately 4 km2. It is known for being the first European settlement in Queensland.
The suburb has a population of 8981 people with the predominant age being 40-49 years old. The median house price in the area is $336,000, which is an increase of 9.2% since 2008 and the average amount of days on the market is 91 which is lower than the Moreton region average of 98.
Redcliffe’s amenities include The Blue Water Square shopping centre, Redcliffe museum, botanical gardens, Settlement Cove lagoon, schools, a racecourse track, swimming pool, Redcliffe and Woody point jetties. The area is undergoing a lot of developments which include the new $150 million Mon Komo mixed- use development, the duplication of the Hornibrook Bridge, and an extended train line in Kippa-ring servicing Redcliffe. Redcliffe is also known for hosting the First Settlement Festival yearly and its whale watching.

Ipswich (South-West of Brisbane)
Ipswich is located 40 km south-west of the state's capital, Brisbane and is approximately 4km2. It has a population of 2328 which is an increase of 17% since 2001. Gatton (South-West of Brisbane)
Gatton is situated south-West of the states capital Brisbane and is approximately 43 km2 in area. Yeronga (Inner Brisbane)
Yeronga is a residential suburb located on the Brisbane River, 7 km south of Brisbane and is approximately 3 km2. Currently the suburb has a population of 5349 people which is an increase of 11% since 2001.

The suburb has its own train station which connects the area to Beenleigh and Brisbane, the new Eleanor Schonell bridge that connects Dutton Park to University of Queensland is located within close proximity and regular bus services to the city and Indooroopilly. Southport (Inner Gold Coast)
Southport is located approximately 73 km south-east of the state's capital Brisbane and has an area of 18 km2. It is surrounded by suburbs such as Ashmore, Labrador, Parkwood and Arundel. The suburb has a population of 39085 with a predominant age group of 20-29 years old. Southport experienced a capital growth of 9.3% in 2008, bringing the median house price up to $420,000.
The average amount of days that houses are on the market in Southport is 104 , which is lower than the Gold Coast average of 121.Southport is considered to be the CBD of the Gold Coast as it has a large area of office space and is centrally located. Southport’s amenities include schools, Gold Coast hospital, Griffith University, Australia Fair shopping centre, the Southport pool, regular bus services and is located close to Surfers Paradise, the main tourist attraction of the Gold Coast.

Coomera (North of Gold Coast)
Coomera is a fast growing community located next to the Pacific Motorway, approximately 54 km from Brisbane. Pimpama (North of Gold Coast)
Pimpama is the last rural town between the Gold Coast and Brisbane; it is located approximately 48km from Brisbane and covers an area of 40 km2. The area has experienced a population growth of 11% since 2001 bringing the current population to 2337 people. The predominant age group is the 40-49 year olds. The median house price in Pimpama is $685,000 which is an increase of 18.9% since 2008. The average home is on the market for approximately 161 days.
The suburb is well known for its tourist attraction such as the Strawberry Farm, go-kart racing and a golf course. Pimpama’s only mode of public transport is through the Ormeau station which connects with the Gold Coast –airport line. Pimpama has 2 surrounding primary schools.
